| Soil Foodweb is an international soil biology group providing laboratory soil testing and soil biology consultancy services. It was founded by Dr Elaine Ingham, a leading international soil microbiologist. The systems developed by Dr Ingham have been designed to analyse the microbiology present in soil samples and to develop appropriate responses to achieve desired levels and balances of soil microbiology. |
Soil Foodweb International NZ has created series of workshops which are delivered in layman’s terms so that all those attending can easily grasp the concepts and readily take steps to put them into practice. Comprising of a friendly inter-active learning style these workshops are generally tailor-made for specific grower groups: ie Pastoral Sheep and Beef, Dairy Production, Grape Production, Avocado Production etc. They are designed to fit into a busy farmer’s week taking anywhere from 3 hours in a morning or afternoon or an entire day.
We have also designed a workshop for consultants and farm-supply retail personal. This is a 3 hour course that covers basic understanding of the workings of soil microbes and in-depth training on interpretation the Soil Foodweb Report – and how to act on its findings.
Because of the widely varying circumstances our pricing to conduct these workshops will be negotiate at the time of enquiry. It is envisaged that the organisation holding the workshops to set a reasonable admission fee to cover their costs.
